The Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship —— in a nutshell

For starters, there's funding. You will get $5,000 per year over three years. This can go towards anything related to your undergraduate tech studies.

The scholarship also includes:

  • A 3-month ‘Disruptive Leaders Program’, including a 5-day intensive leadership development program in Singapore in 2021 (pending no travel restrictions)
  • Access to mentoring, professional networks and internships with Westpac Group
  • Membership to the Westpac 100 Scholars Network – an inclusive group of some of the brightest young minds in Australia.

Criteria

You will need to enrol in an approved technology-related degree at one of five partner universities.

Who can apply?

Open to students who have:

  • a passion for technology
  • drive and desire to learn and grow as a young leader
  • academic excellence, with a minimum credit average for the duration of the degree
  • applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident under 26 years of age
  • applicants may enrol in a dual or double degree, however this must occur from the point of application and include a technology degree
